    Flatlander : A person who lives in a region that consists mostly of flat terrain without any mountains. Thus, flatlanders typically have a difficult time climbing mountains due to lack of conditioning from living in flat terrain.

     At Flatlander Fit, I will draw from my many years of experience and your program will be designed after a full and thorough evaluation. I take into account any past or current limitations, and choose specific and effective exercises  to challenge you at your current physical level and bring you up to the next one! I will do this to ensure you reach your full potential.

    Meet Jason

       

         My name is Jason Schultz (NSCA -CPT, OTR/L) and I am a Flatlander. When I was 19 years old, I entered a gym for the first time.  Since that day, I have continued to climb that mountain in order to reach my pinnacle. Like most people, I am a work in progress, and gaining altitude every day! Working as an occupational therapist for the last 25 years has really enhanced my perspective, knowledge and skill base. I have treated many types of patients with varying diagnoses that have disrupted their lives and weighed on them physically, mentally, and emotionally. The biggest thing that I have seen time and time again with my patients and with myself is that consistency, dedication, and a positive outlook always yields results.         
        So much has changed in the health and fitness industry over the years. I have failed at some diets and succeeded at others. I have participated in productive workout programs, and others that just weren’t right for me. I’ve had different injuries over the years that have slowed, or even stopped, my progress. Hitting my 40’s and now my 50's has really opened my eyes as aging has forced me to change or modify my workout and nutrition plans. I have been fortunate enough to learn through trial and error and from amazing people in the fitness industry. That experience combined with my personal training  has given me a unique perspective and allows me to share my wealth of knowledge with others. I want to help more individuals to attain their health and fitness goals.  Thus, FlatLander Fit was born to do just that - help you  attain your greatness!

    After your evaluation, we will put you on your path to reach your fitness and health goals! I will develop a plan to challenge and help you build a solid foundation of strength needed to climb your mountain.  I will help you build accountability and confidence to keep you journey to a better you! 

    Elevate

    Your foundation and confidence are built! Now let's ELEVATE to the next level! I will incorporate all the hard work you have done and develop new customized programs to celebrate your new strength to push you the next summit of your fitness goals! Don't worry, I will continue with personalized support and coaching to help you achieve your goals

    Conquer

    You are achieving your goals with new found confidence and strength! Your hard work has changed your lifestyle in terms of your health and fitness.  I want to see you CONQUER your next goal or set of goals-whether it is for a "completion" ( 5K, marathon, fitness, hiking trips or outdoor expedition) or establishing long term strength and resiliency to enjoy life to the fullest! You and I will collaborate on a new customized programs for you to reach your pinnacle!
